I’ve started a new weekly segment called Wednesday Wisdom where I will be sharing eye-opening and inspiring videos, quotes, interviews and more! To start off this segment, here is a TED Talk (who else loves TED talks?!) by Dan Gilbert, a professor of Psychology at Harvard University and the author of international bestseller ‘Stumbling on Happiness’. In life, it is safe to say that most of us are in pursuit of one thing in particular and that is happiness, right? Well Dan Gilbert believes that in our pursuit of happiness, most of us have the wrong map. In this video he challenges everything we think we know on happiness and shows that our “pshychological immune system” enables us to experience true happiness even if things in life don’t go according to plan. The video goes for 20 minutes but it is definitely worth the watch!
