Chocolate Easter Nests [GF]

With Easter quickly approaching, I wanted to share with you all the cutest idea for your celebrations, Easter Nests. I found these several years ago, most likely on Pinterest, and they’ve become one of my favourite things to make each Easter. Not only are they adorable, but they taste incredible (not a hard feat when two of the three ingredients is chocolate).

They’re perfect for bringing around to Easter celebrations, or a fun idea to make with kids!

Gluten Free Variation

Those of us with coeliac disease or non-coeliac gluten sensitivity do not have to miss out! Simply switch out the regular Weet-Bix for Sanitarium’s gluten free Weet-Bix and use the Nestle or Cadbury chocolate bits found in the baking aisle of the grocery store (they’re gluten free ‘by ingredient’ and don’t have any ‘may contain gluten’ labels). Thankfully, mini eggs are gluten free ‘by ingredient’, but if you’re also looking for some alternative easter eggs, check out my list of gluten free easter eggs available this year.

You can watch me making them on my recent instagram reel. Let me know if you make them, and if you share it online feel free to tag me (@chantelouisee). Wishing you all a beautiful Easter holiday!
